About Trilbii

We know what it’s like to wear too many hats.

Dental practices are full of highly capable people. But around patient care sits an enormous amount of work that still needs to get done.

And in most practices, there isn’t a separate person for every job.

The same people are wearing too many hats.

Dental teams shouldn’t need to become AI experts to benefit from AI.

They shouldn’t have to learn how to write prompts, work out what to ask, or start from scratch every time there’s work to be done.

They need AI that understands dental and is built to help with the work they’re already doing.

That’s why we built Trilbii.

AI for practices that wear too many hats.

Nearly 20 years in dental. Twenty years running practices.

Trilbii was built by people who have spent their careers inside dental and allied health practices.

It was founded by Carolyn S Dean and Anthony Middlemiss, bringing together two very different perspectives on the same problem.

Carolyn has spent nearly 20 years working in dental marketing and practice growth, working with hundreds of practices across Australia. Her experience includes building a dental marketing business that supported more than 300 practices and leading marketing and customer experience across a network of more than 260 dental practices.

Anthony spent around 20 years running allied health practices, so he knows first-hand how much work sits around patient care. His background in technology, AI and machine learning brings another perspective to how those problems can now be solved.

Before building Trilbii, we spent more than a year talking to dental practice owners and managers, researching how teams work and identifying where AI could provide practical support.

We started with the problems practices were already dealing with, then worked out where AI could help.

Meet the founders

Carolyn S Dean, Founder of Trilbii AI

Carolyn S Dean

Co-founder and CEO

Carolyn has spent nearly two decades helping dental practices grow and navigate the business of dentistry.

Her experience spans dental marketing, patient experience, practice growth and healthcare communications, working with hundreds of practices across Australia.

After seeing the same challenge repeatedly, capable dental teams carrying an extraordinary amount of work beyond patient care, Carolyn saw an opportunity to use AI differently.

Not as something else for the team to learn.

As practical support for the work dental practices already need to get done.

Anthony Middlemiss

Co-founder

Anthony built, scaled and exited his own allied health clinics before returning to technology.

Marketing, HR, systems, administration and the constant work required to keep a practice running were part of his everyday reality.

His experience running practices, combined with his background in technology and further study in AI and machine learning, brings a practical lens to how Trilbii is built.

Technology should make work easier for the people actually using it.

Dental first. For a reason.

We chose to build deeply for dental rather than broadly for everyone.

Dental practices have their own language, workflows, systems, advertising requirements and ways of working.

Trilbii is being built around those realities.

That means your team isn’t starting by explaining what dental means before they can get anything useful done.

No learning how to use AI. No writing prompts. No starting from scratch.

What we believe

AI should give people more capacity, not replace them.

AI should reduce repetitive work and give practice teams more time for the things that need people: patients, relationships, judgement and leadership.

Healthcare requires responsible AI.

Human oversight, appropriate boundaries and professional accountability matter.

Trilbii supports the work around patient care. It does not replace clinical judgement, diagnose patients or make clinical decisions.

Technology should make work easier.

Practices shouldn’t need to become AI experts to benefit from AI.

The technology should understand the job it is there to do.

AI for practices that wear too many hats.

We know why those hats exist. The work matters.

We just don’t believe every piece of it should continue to require the same amount of human time and effort.

Less repetitive work. More capacity for patients, teams and growth.
